Mumbo Jumbo
No… not the world-renowned redstone genius and former mayoral candidate of the shopping district. The other mumbo jumbo. Mumbo jumbo like blah blah blah: credits. I used some resources and fonts from some places. I tell where they come from. See below.
This might be something only ogs or geriatric millennials and older might remember… but back in my day, we would have to put some sort of disclaimer about what size our webpage worked on. Or we would have those splash pages, those were kinda fun, and then you’d make people click a link where your site would open in a particularly sized pop up window so that it would display properly. We really had a boner for frames in those days and that would be the only way the page would look right.
Obviously that’s not much of a thing anymore, and this site works just fine on desktop, tablet, and mobile, what with the glories of responsive design. I’m fairly meticulous in that way, made sure that I have separate elements for the smaller versions as needed. What I’m waffling on about right now is just to say: I cannot recommend that this site be viewed in full screen for our desktop friends. Because, OMG, the text is bleeding huge. It absolutely screams at you. It all looks just fine with the window open at the default size or when stretched to fill the height of the monitor, at least on the 24″ monitor I’ve got. But despite my best efforts to constrain the width of the content and adjust the text sizes, in full screen… I mean there are people 10 acres away in my little neck of buttfuck nowhere that could read the text looking through my window. No binoculars or telescope required.
Fullscreen really should only be used for the basically blind.
I’m not Ansel Adams, just a dipshit with a camera phone. I’ll take pictures of absolutely anything. I’m man enough to admit that when the layer effect on my Starbucks is on point I’ll take a picture of that shit. I can embrace my basicness. I take a lot of outdoors pictures and I take a picture of literally any animal that comes within 100 ft of me. I love graffiti and weird urban stuff. Clouds, that’s a big one. I love clouds. And rainbows, obviously. Oh, and I have two cats, the photos of which comprise approximately 75% of my iCloud storage.
Yeah, the photos, some won’t look so hot resolution-wise, they’re from back in the day when I still had my beloved iPhone SE (1st gen: OG). I miss that phone. Then we moved on to the SE second gen. I do not miss that phone. Sorry not sorry, probably my least favorite phone of all time tbh. New photos though, those should look pretty good. Sprang for the 15 Pro.
So… several many of the photos in the header images are ones that I took myself while out and about. For the others, see the next box down below. Kthx!
